Qa3 provide training in various aspects of analytical testing, from specific analytical techniques to general laboratory practices.
- Analytical Technique Specific Training
- General Laboratory Best Practices Training
- Setting up a new laboratory (and training new staff in laboratory services)
Analytical Technique Specific Training
Specific courses are available for Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP – OES). ICP can determine all the naturally occurring elements in the periodic table (except hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine and the noble gases), and has a wide range of applications across many industries.
Perkin Elmer has been a major analytical instrument supplier for over 75 years, and are leaders in ICP technology, offering a number of Optima™ ICP-OES spectrometers. Qa3 consultants provide training packages on behalf of Perkin Elmer, these can either be at the Perkin Elmer training facility or at customer sites according to client preference.
More information can be found here.
General Laboratory Best Practices Training
Qa3 can offer bespoke courses in best laboratory practices. This is aimed at laboratories where there is a requirement to increase the knowledge of staff in basic laboratory skills which include but are not limited to:
- Sample Management
- Quality Systems Overview
- Method Validation
- Quality Control
- Use of Common Laboratory Apparatus (balances, pipettes, heating devices etc)
Setting Up New Laboratories (and training new staff in laboratory methods and procedures)
Qa3 consultants have good experience in starting up new laboratories. This may be a small laboratory with just one or two techniques (for example a small quality control laboratory) or may be a larger laboratory with a number of techniques requiring staff to be trained in all procedures and the laboratory to be commissioned. Our consultants have experience of new laboratory start-ups both in the UK and Internationally.
